Kimberly Bishop
Kimberly is a Vice Chairman at the firm and brings more than 20 years of recognized success in executive search and leadership development, the financial sector, academia and community service.
Before joining Boardroom Consultants/Slayton, she was a Senior Partner/Managing Director at Korn/Ferry International, specializing in the recruitment, assessment and leadership development of senior-level executives and board directors for public and private organizations. Her ability to build relationships with business leaders and deliver results for clients has made her one of the most highly regarded leaders in the search industry today.
Earlier in her career, Kim established an equally impressive track record as a senior business executive in financial services, technology, and banking. She was Executive Vice President at First Data Corporation, where she rose from an entry-level position to become the youngest person to serve on the company’s leadership team, overseeing its $2 billion card division and 8,000 employees.
A sought-after speaker, Kim has appeared before prominent groups both nationally and internationally. She has been a featured guest on CNN, WABC Eyewitness News and CNBC’s The Big Idea with Donny Deutsch. She has also been interviewed by The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, Money magazine, Crain’s New York Business, American Banker, Cards & Payments, Shattered, and Pink magazine.
Kim currently serves on numerous boards engaged in community, philanthropic and professional development. She is a director of FDNY Foundation, ACCION USA, The Bottomless Closet, and The Committee of 200 (C200). She has been recognized by the Girl Scouts and the New York Woman's Agenda for her contributions to women and children.
She earned a Master of Arts in Leadership and a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Communications, both from Bellevue University.
