Stroup >> Jonathan C. Stroup Mr. Stroup has more than 12 years experience in search and board consulting. He has led senior-level engagements for multi-national and early stage companies in the automotive, business services, distribution, energy, logistics and technology sectors. Prior to joining Slayton Search Partners and Boardroom Consultants, Jon was a Partner and Office Manager in the Atlanta office of Egon Zehnder International. While there, he provided executive search solutions for significant industrial clients such as Siemens, Superior Essex, Southern Company, Linde and First Aviation. His significant technology clients included Equant, Motorola, Bellsouth, Nokia, Earthlink and SAP. Previously, he spent seven years with Scientific-Atlanta (now Cisco), a supplier of broadband communications systems. He was responsible for the Time Warner Cable account, Scientific-Atlanta's largest customer and the first major buyer of digital video products. Earlier, Jon was a Regional Manager in California and Colorado for Instron Corporation (now a unit of Illinois Tool Works), a supplier of materials testing equipment to defense, industrial and R&D laboratories. He earned a Master of Science in Engineering from MIT and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering, with honors, from Princeton University.
